This Privacy Policy explains how Yurist AI ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use our mobile application.

Disclaimer: Yurist AI provides general legal information generated by artificial intelligence. It is not legal advice, answers may contain mistakes, and it does not replace a qualified lawyer.

Yurist AI is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. For official legal texts, see lex.uz.

1. Information we collect

Account data: your name, email address and password when you register. Passwords are stored only in hashed form. A phone number is optional and is stored only if you add it to your profile.
Chat content: the questions you type and the answers generated for you, saved as your conversation history.
Feedback and reports: ratings and reports you submit about AI answers, including any optional comment.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, files, microphone data, advertising identifiers or payment information. The app contains no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

To create and secure your account and let you sign in
To generate answers to your legal questions and show your conversation history
To review reported answers and improve answer quality
To respond to your support requests

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

3. AI processing and third-party sharing

To generate an answer, the text of your question is sent from our servers to a third-party AI service provider. The app asks for your explicit consent before your first message is sent.

We do not share your data with anyone else, except where required by law. Please do not include sensitive personal information (passport details, phone numbers, health information, etc.) in your questions.

4. Security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored in hashed form and access to our servers is restricted.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your account data and conversations until you delete them or your account. You can:

Delete an individual conversation in the app (side menu → conversation → delete)
Permanently delete your account and all associated data in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account
Request deletion without the app, as described on our account deletion page

When you delete your account, your profile, conversations, ratings and reports are permanently removed from our servers.

6. Children

Yurist AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Your rights

You can view and update your profile in the app and delete your account at any time. For any other request about your data, contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our data practices change and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
